Just about every Mainer's Mom or Nana has made Maine Potato Candy - a soft, moist creamy coconut candy dipped in dark chocolate. Yes!! it is made with real Maine potatoes!!

Named in honor of the University of Maine Maine Black Bears, a maple-flavored caramel and pecan cluster, dipped in dark chocolate. Don't look a thing like an actual bear's paw.

A large candy-bar shaped goodie. Very rich brown sugar center with a tiny bit of coconut, dipped in dark chocolate. Old candy recipe from the Beckett Company of Calais, Eastport and Lubec Maine.
